FM radios are integrated into all modern smartphones, yet they’re rarely enabled. That won’t be the case with future handsets from LG. The company has partnered with NextRadio to enable the FM radios inside its upcoming devices. Phones will come with NextRadio’s app pre-installed and people can use it to listen to any local radio station.
This partnership covers some of LG’s top smartphones and it’ll apply to the North American and South American markets.
With an active FM radio, users will have an alternative way of getting free music.
