A week and a half prior to its assumed reveal, Videocardz posted photos of the upcoming GeForce RTX 2060. From the looks of things, the card would see a release at the start of CES.
Looking at the photos the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 Founders Edition shows a dual fan design looking close to what the RTX 2070 offers. Interestingly, this card has a single 8-pin power connector. So the Wattage baseline is 75+150 Watts. Withdraw some reserve and that’s a 180 Watt TDP?
The founders’ edition is covered with a backplate and shows monitor display supports DisplayPort (2x), HDMI, DVI, and USB TypeC connectors. Precise specifications are lacking, but this card is rumored to be based on TU106 with fewer shader cores. it is expected to have 1920 shader processors 30 RT cores and 240 tensor cores. With 6 GB GDDR6 memory and the right price, this card might become really compelling. It is expected that the product launch and announcement would imminent soon, with availability starting in the second half of January 2019.
