Earlier this month, we had a chance to see alleged renders of Fitbit’s upcoming smartwatch and learn more about the watch. According to leaked information, the smartwatch will be a refined version of the Blaze aluminum unibody design that will support swappable bands. It will include GPS, heart rate monitoring, wireless payments and have 1000 nits of brightness color screen that would last 4 days on a single charge.
Another leaked image reveals that the $300 smartwatch uses red LEDs that offer better tissue penetration and could allow users to get all kinds of new data besides just heart rate. Except for the leaked renders, that is all we know at the moment so stay tuned.
