Xiaomi is one company at the front of innovation and isn’t one that would shy away from embracing latest innovation. The company it was who kickstarted the boom we have witnessed in the aspect of full-screen bezel-less smartphones. And in that regard, the Mi Mix 2s is expected to be launched on March 27 as the company’s third model in the Mix family. Now, the real picture of the Mi Mix 2s has leaked online.
The picture shows the device will among other things feature a front fingerprint sensor but since it is a full-screen display, we’ll meet the new Under display fingerprint technology onboard the Xiaomi model. This potentially makes Xiaomi the second OEM after Vivo to utilize the new fingerprint recognition technology. That is if the leak turns out to be true but we are not entirely sure of that. Neither can we say if the leaked Mi Mix 2s photo is real or not? Suffice it to say that the device looks more like the Mi Mix 2 but there is indeed the selfie hooter at the top right corner of the display instead of the bottom right as found on the Mi Mix 2.
The Mi Mix 2s specs were recently confirmed by a leaked “About phone” screenshot. The device is expected to pack a huge 4,400mAh battery under the hood, which combined with a very efficient Snapdragon 845 on the driver seat will provide more than a day of juice. The leaked screenshot mentions only a single rear camera which is a 16MP sensor but the device is rumoured to pack a dual camera setup. The Mi Mix 2s is also expected to pack a 6.0- inch Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2160x1080p. There is also 8GB of RAM along with 256GB internal storage.
