A few days back, an alleged live photo of the LG G6 had been leaked on the web, revealing the handset’s tiny top bezel and the solid metal frame in the middle. A new live photo of the upcoming flagship has cropped up today, showing the rear this time.

As rumored multiple times in the past, it looks like the G6 will indeed have a very shiny glass back, which will allow it to support wireless charging. We also see a dual-camera setup at the back, laid out in a similar fashion as on its predecessor. Below the dual-camera setup is a circular fingerprint scanner, again similar in terms of the positioning to the G5.

The LG G6 is going to be officially unveiled on the 26th of this month at a pre-MWC media event in Barcelona. The flagship handset is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 quad-core SoC under the hood, paired with at least 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The front will largely be dominated by a 5.7-inch sized display with an unusual 1440 x 2880 resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Apart from integrating wireless charging, the G6 is also expected to be the first LG flagship to feature IP68 certification for dust and water resistance. It could also feature a 32-bit DAC similar to the one seen inside the V20 phablet released last year.
