The first 4K televisions running Amazon’s Fire TV software and its Alexa digital assistant are entering the market starting at $450. A low-cost lineup from Element will be sold under both the Element and Westinghouse brands. You can preorder them on Amazon’s site.
Element’s models start at $449 for 43-inches and go up to $899 for a 65-inch unit.
Beyond offering some nice software and 4K displays, the televisions are pretty basic. They don’t come with features like Dolby Vision or HDR, contributing to their lower price tag. Budget-focused consumers may find them a nice alternative to some of the UHD models on the market.
