Excellent Value, great product, fast shipping,
You can’t beat this setup. Everything works excellently as described. Although there’s no much in the way of instructions if you get on Fancier’s website there is a video that explains how to put the softboxes together and it’s really easy. They throw excellent light and the 4 bulb light heads can also be used with umbrellas. The stands are decent but not exceptional, but an excellent value for the price. I put pennies in my counterweight bag for the boom stand and it works. This equipment is untouchable for the price… PERIOD.
Is it studio quality? not quite, will it last forever? probably not.. but you get alot more than you pay for and it’s all definitly decent quality.

Very pleased with the purchase. Lights are very good – even lighting, easy to assemble (no instructions came with the set, but you don’t need them). The stands are very thin metal – the tops that hold the adapter (especially the boom light) can stress the metal – that leads to unintended wiggle and sway. A few hose clamps tightened things up and are now just fine.

|Can’t Really Beat The Price,
I can’t believe how much you can get for your money some times. This comes with three stands, a boom, three soft boxes, three lamps with built-in “speed rings”, 12 carbon fiber rods, and twelve 200-watt CFLs. Plus a carrying bag and diffuser sheets and covers! My only complaint is no instructions for how to put together and for that, I dropped a star.
The Fancier website didn’t provide much help. Someone did respond to my email, but didn’t resolve.
It turns out you do not need speed rings to assemble the soft boxes. The holes are already drilled into the side of lights. All you need to do is an internet search for “how to put together a softbox” and just know that the “speed ring” is not needed and the holes to hold the rods are built into the side of the light already.
Also, you can’t dim these, but you can control brightness by simply controlling the number of lights, their wattage, and/or the distance from the subject.
Other than that, you really can’t go wrong at this price.
