Nonprofits and their supporters can now hold livestreams on Facebook to raise money for their cause. Facebook Live can be used to raise money for the organization of your choosing and the feature works with 750,000 organizations. The supported groups include “everything from a small local organization in your town to a large global nonprofit.”
Facebook says most 501c3 nonprofits are eligible to receive money through the Live feature.

Donors will be charged a 3% fee for credit card transactions just for the purpose of letting Facebook avoid a loss.
