Facebook is fully rolling out Messenger Day, an Instagram Stories and Snapchat-like feature. It first appeared in Poland last year and now it’s begun going out to users around the world on iOS and Android.
Messenger Day lets you post photos or videos with accompanying text, filters, and doodles. That content, all found in your “Day,” is then available to all/some friends for 24 hours.
This kind of feature is very close to what’s found on Snapchat. Instagram and WhatsApp have introduced similar capabilities, with Instagram Stories being a massive success.
