Facebook has updated its Android app over the past few weeks with the ability to upload videos in HD, a feature that appeared on iOS years ago. It’s available in the settings menu right below Facebook’s option for HD photo uploads. Considering how long smartphones have been capturing HD content, this is an obvious addition to the app.
The option to upload photos at a higher quality has existed for a while.
Other features are also being tested, such as floating video windows and video downloads for offline viewing.
