The next-gen Xbox unique recreation Everwild has misplaced its artistic director.
Creative Director Simon Woodroffe has reportedly resigned from the mission and growth studio Rare with no purpose given for his departure.
Woodroffe has been with the event studio since 2012. Starting as artistic director for Rare’s fashionable pirate multiplayer title Sea of Thieves, Woodroffe shifted over to Everwild as soon as the way forward for the multiplayer recreation was solidified.
In an announcement to VGC, Rare studio head Craig Duncan mentioned: “We thank Simon for all his hard work on Everwild and wish him the very best of luck for the future. The Everwild team are in good hands and passionate about building a game that will give players unforgettable experiences in a natural and magical world.”
The upcoming Xbox and PC recreation is now being spearheaded by govt producer Louise O’Connor.
Woodroffe’s departure isn’t the one huge title to depart a significant Xbox launch this month. Halo Infinite artistic director Chris Lee not too long ago left the in-development mission and 343 Industries after 12 years of employment.
