Eurocom is a well-known Canadian company of high-performance notebooks that has yet to release new models powered by Coffee Lake processors. Responding to questions on the NotebookReview forums, a Eurocom representative has accidentally revealed information about future models.

According to him, the Tornado F5 laptop will be updated to Z390 chipset with support for 8C/16T CPUs in 2018. Since the notebook uses a desktop CPU socket, it is safe to say that Intel plans to release such CPUs for desktop first. He also confirmed that the Tornado F7 will arrive in the second half of 2018

“We are planning to update Tornado F5 to Z390 chipset supporting 8C/16T CPUs coming in H2/18. We will launch F7 at the same time too. We will skip z370 chipset. Meantime we added support for Quadro P5000 and P3000.”
