Epistar, Lextar report losses for 2020

LED epitaxial wafer and chip maker Epistar and vertically-integrated LED maker Lextar Electronics have reported losses for 2020.
Epistar and Lextar noticed working lack of NT$4.486 billion (US$158 million) and NT$800.7 million respectively for 2020 – the third consecutive 12 months of working losses for each firms.
Epistar posted consolidated revenues of NT$14.532 billion, gross margin of -3.06%, and internet lack of NT$8.109 billion for 2020. Lextar recorded consolidated revenues of NT$9.171 billion, gross margin of 12.37% and internet lack of NT$629.Four million for the 12 months.
Epistar’s consolidated revenues reached NT$1.04 billion in February, lowering 9.12% sequentially however rising 11.89% on 12 months, and people of NT$2.183 billion for January-February grew 21.51% on 12 months.
Lextar had consolidated revenues of NT$449.zero million for February, declining 19.58% sequentially however rising 36.72% on 12 months, and people of NT$1.007 billion for January-February grew 31.72% on 12 months.
