Elephone S8 Specs and Price – So much more value than Doogie Mix and Maze Alpha
S8 specs may have less RAM than higher versions of Mix and Alpha, but the Helio X25 is so much faster and better, that it really doesn’t matter. In addition, the Elephone S8 display is made by Sharp and is vastly superior to cheaper Mix and Alpha ones. Besides that, the single 22MP Sony IMX230 camera absolutely destroys those cheap dual-cameras from Doogee and Maze.

On top of it all, the Elephone S8 is running a newer version of Android 7.1.1, however, S8 does have a few things missing like a headphone jack and LED notification light.
To get notifications, however, you can use S8 Always-on Display Feature, meaning your Elephone S8 will wake up on notifications.
Elephone S8 supports LTE Bands – 1,2,3,4,5,7,8,17,20,26,28,38,39,40 and 41. To put it simply, Elephone S8 4G/LTE works in Europe, Asia, USA, Canada and South America without issues.

Elephone S8 Hands-On – Have to See it To Believe How Good it Is!
Most phones get overhyped and never meet expectations, but when I got S8 hands-on I was bluntly shocked how good it is!
I was so shocked that mistook the display for AMOLED because it’s that good!
Viewing QHD videos from youtube never felt this good for 240$! I’m sold on the Elephone S8 display for sure!
Remember I told you I mistook it for AMOLED, here’s why.
This is next to my Meizu Pro 6 Plus’s Super AMOLED panel and both are maxed on brightness. Elephone S8 holds up quite well to one of the best phone displays from last year!
Let’s now take a look at Elephone S8 back and build quality.
The back is made of the strongest polycarbonate plastic backed up by a solid metal rim around the body. This is not like those glass or cheap metal phones that will dent or break easy. The Elephone S8 build quality is vastly superior to devices like Mi 5X and Redmi Note 4.
The stylish black reflective coating gives the S8 a very premium look as well.
