Just like Zotac earlier today, ECS has also announced its plans for the upcoming Consumer Electronics Show 2017. The company is preparing four mini-PCs and three of them will be powered by Intel’s latest Kaby Lake processors. No word on pricing or availability.
ECS Liva Z and Liva ZE are basically the same computers, except the ZE version has more space for additional ports and 2.5 drive. Both feature a 10 watt, quad-core Intel Apollo Lake processor, M.2 SSD, two SO-DIMM slots with support for up to 8GB of DDR3L memory, and they are fanless.
The Liva Z Plus is a more powerful model with Kaby Lake-U processor, up to 16 GB of DDR4 RAM and has a fan to keep it cool. The last one is Liva XE, the only model that has a last-gen Intel Braswell processor, which is the only difference.
More details will be revealed at CES 2017.
