Samsung is having hard times with the Galaxy Note 7 and is losing a lot of money right now. Since the recall of its flagship phablet, Samsung has lost $26 billion in market value. To negate the consequences, the company could launch its next-gen smartphones a little bit earlier.
Two versions of the Galaxy S8 are in the works, codenamed Dream and Dream 2. The Dream variant has a model number of SM-G950, while the Dream 2 is SM-G955. There is no real information about the devices at the moment, but it is believed that the Dream packs a 5.1-inch and the Dream 2 a 5.5-inch dual edge display. Reportedly there won’t be a flat version of the handsets, but we should know more soon enough.
