Manufacturers try to make any device as smaller as possible to make it portable. The more portable it is the more it’s used. Therefore, that product as well as the brand on it will become more popular. This is the main reason why manufacturers always come with fresh and innovative ideas trying to attract more and more consumers by their small and portable devices. When it comes to wireless speakers, we always imagine it should be stylish and provide good audio performance. Therefore, it should be conditionally big in size. But this statement is not correct for all cases. A few days back I have got my hands on a Dodocool Bluetooth Mini Wireless Speaker, and I was surprised the performance it was capable to provide.

The Dodocool Bluetooth Mini Wireless Speaker is small that means you can take it everywhere, and the strap can be used to listen to favorite music when walking.
It comes in a cylinder-like form. The housing is covered by an aluminum alloy. Plus, it’s glossy that gives an additional charm to the speaker making it to look like an expensive device.
Looking at the ‘front’ we can note the logo printed on the lower side. There is also a hole for installing the strap.
The microUSB port is located on the opposite side.
The top side carries the speaker. The net is made of metal.
As you can see, there are several holes and a button on the bottom side of the Dodocool Bluetooth Mini Wireless Speaker. There is the main multifunction button in the middle. It can be used to turn the speaker on / off, start music playback, and answer the phone call it is paired with. There is also a LED indicator that turns into red when charging, and blue when the power is on. Finally, there is a microphone to answer the calls. As you can guess, like other Bluetooth speakers such as the Xiaomi Mi Bluetooth Speaker, Xiaomi Mi Speaker 2 or the Meizu Lifeme BTS30 this model has a remote. So once you paired it with your phone you can make hands-free operations like answering calls or capturing.
At last, the Dodocool Bluetooth Mini Wireless Speaker is available in two colors – black and white.
Though the Dodocool Bluetooth Mini Wireless Speaker is capable of providing an acceptable sound experience, the size as well as the price matter. Plus, it’s not stereo. However, the sound quality is definitely higher than the built-in loudspeakers.
This wireless speaker can’t be used for listening to music in large rooms, because it’s small and it won’t be provide a good performance. On the other hand, this speaker has been designed for the cases when you want to listen to music when you need a speaker louder than your phone comes at. Moreover, as it has remote control options, it’s made for the cases when you need to control your phone without hands.
Well, the selling point of the Dodocool Bluetooth Mini Wireless Speaker is the ability to use the remote control shutter function in self-shooting. But it can’t be used for all smartphones. This function works only on those phones where you can assign the camera shutter button to the volume key.
Due to small sizes there is only a 300mAh battery, which is capable of keeping the speaker alive for 2-4 hours. This is the most disappointing feature of this device.
The Dodocool Bluetooth Mini Wireless Speaker is sold for $11.99 (black color) and $12.99 (white color). It’s cheap, but it’s not recommended to use it when listening to music in large rooms. Honestly, it provides good performance, but if you are a music lover, it’s better to acquire other speakers.
This speaker is designed for those who are dissatisfied with the built-in speakers of their PCs and smartphones. Thanks to a small size, you can take it anywhere and listen to music at better quality in all these cases. At last, it can be used as a self-shooting camera button. This is where it’s really useful.
