Delta Electronics, a supplier of power and thermal management solutions, has reported net profits of NT$5.666 billion (US$178.94 million) for the third quarter of 2016, up 31.77% sequentially but down 3.9% on year. EPS for the quarter stood at NT$2.18.
For the first three quarters of 2016, net profits totaled NT$13.846 billion, increasing 2.1% from a year earlier. EPS for the January-September period reached NT$5.33.
Gross margin hit a record high of 28.65% in the third quarter compared to 28.1% of a quarter earlier. Accumulated 2016 revenues through September totaled NT$157.37 billion.
The company’s stock price rose NT$4 to close at NT$168.50 on the Taiwan Stock Exchange (TSE) during the October 28 session.
