Delta Electronics is increasing its manufacturing facility in Wujiang, China, eyeing the electrical automobile (EV) market there, in keeping with firm chairman Yancey Hai.
China is predicted to grow to be the globally largest new vitality automobile market, Hai stated, including Delta has been growing EV drive motors.
It began delivery its drive motors to Europe-based EV makers for trial use three years in the past, and it’s now in talks with US-based EV makers about trialing them, business sources stated.
The firm has disclosed energy provides and associated parts accounted for 43.65% of its first-quarter 2019 consolidated revenues of NT$54.102 billion (US$1.75 billion); gadgets utilized in ICT infrastructure and vitality infrastructures, 40.41%; and gadgets for industrial automation and constructing automation, 15.93%.
