Canonical might have scraped Ubuntu Touch for phones and tablets, but they are pretty much on track in terms of desktop and mobile computers. After announcing two new powerful Ubuntu-based laptops, Dell has now unveiled a new all-in-one workstation that is powered by the latest Ubuntu 16.04 LTS operating system.
The Dell Precision 5720 all-in-one is the latest workstation from the company that is now available for purchase for $1,599. For that, you will get a 27-inch UltraSharp UHD workstation class machine powered by Intel Core i5-7600 or i7-7700, or Intel Xeon E3-1275 v6 processors, up to 64 GB of 2,133 MHz DDR4 ECC RAM, one M.2 PCIe SSD and up to two 2.5″ SATA drives for storage, Thunderbolt 3 support, and Radeon Pro WX 4150 or WX 7100 GPUs. It can be shipped with the Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) operating system, as well as Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7.3.
