I purchased the Dell ST2220T on 07/02/2012. I took it home and plugged it in to a Dell laptop with HDMI out. The monitor requires a USB connection for the touch capabilities. The monitor turns any PC into a giant tough screen tablet. Sweet. The speakers are only average. The slow response time is because it is an IPS panel and they respond slower currently. It also has a USB hub which is nice because my Dell laptop only has 2 USB 3 slots.
The monitor came up and worked immediatly with a generic Microsoft PnP driver. I pointed it to the DVD supplied driver and it became only somewhat functional. I backed out the Dell driver and ran until 07/08/2012 when Microsoft update found a new Dell driver for it that works great. Screen resolution of 1920 X 1080. I will purchase another one of these.

|Awesome monitor, very responsive, works with Windows 8 RTM,
Because I have a MSDN Subscription I was able to download the Windows 8 RTM that will ship on Oct 26, 2012 now in August. I wanted to have a touch screen for my desktop PC, so I can use all the Windows 8 features the way they are supposed to be. I got this monitor from another local retailer, and even though I was a bit worried first, as soon as I hooked it to my PC (Acer), it started working flawlessly. It is very responsive like any good tablet or smartphone. You need to learn the gestures for Windows 8 but they work easily. Only minor thing is the monitor has a bevel, so your finger must touch either the right or left of the screen inside of the bevel and swipe quickly from right to left to open the Charms bar. And from left to right to switch apps, or left to right to left quickly to open the application bar. After two or three minutes you get it, and then it is very easy. Without the bevel as a tablet it would be even simpler, but anyway this monitor is very responsive. It looks like the RTM version took in consideration that some monitors have a bevel (I mean frame) that is a bit higher than the actual screen surface, so there is an automatic offset to compensate. Good job Microsoft.
It works flawlessly, no driver needs to be installed, as soon as it is connected it starts working. Creates a fresh, great experience for the desktop user. So if you need a good but not so expensive touch screen monitor, this is a great choice. Highly recommended (5 stars)

Positives.
As a monitor, this device is strong, is quite precise for digital painting, amazing if you consider that a Cintiq Wacom have a 2000 price point. You can use any kind of pen or whatever you want for drawing, works great with photoshop and the screem size is perfect. Also is good as a gaming monitor. This is the only model that have the capacity to be used in a range of 0 to 80 inclination degres, is quite ergonomic and great as a drawing tool. Have speakers and HDMI input.
Negatives.
This model have the slow response time (8 ms), is twice of others brand monitors. But even with this weak, is quite fast. Using the monitor and mouse can be a little dificult, this reduce the advantage of using NVIEWS aplications, this is not important if you use the monitor for drawing, or as a usual second monitor.
Overall, I love it. Great purchase and great amazon service.
