Wireless charging technology is used in many flagship smartphones, but the technology hasn’t been used inside laptops, until now. At CES 2017 trade show, Dell has unveiled the world’s first wireless charging 2-in-1 laptop and hopefully more companies will follow Dell.
The Latitude 7285 is basically a 12.3-inch tablet with a keyboard dock that supports wireless charging. The dock incorporates WiTricity magnetic resonance wireless charging technology that is also AirFuel certified. Unfortunately, users won’t be able to use many Qi chargers as the device is only compatible with the proprietary included mat.
