DeepCool Intros the Baroncase Liquid Chassis

249

DeepCool introduced a new line of cases with factory-fitted CPU liquid cooling, beginning with the Baroncase Liquid. This ATX mid-tower chassis appears short, but that’s because its PSU bay is located where you’d expect a 5.25-inch drive cage to be. DeepCool is marketing it as a micro-ATX case, which happens to support ATX motherboards. You’ll notice that it has just 5 expansion slot covers. You get room for the two extra expansion slots (of ATX boards) by removing one of two 3.5-inch drive stacks lined along the base.

The PSU (not included) stands vertical near the front portion of the case, with its fan intake facing forwards (through the front panel). The included DeepCool Captain 120EX AIO liquid cooler features RGB LED lighting on its pump+block assembly, and its 120 mm radiator comes factory-fitted to the top exhaust. One of the case’s 2.5-inch drive bays is lined on top of the side drive cage, so it’s visible through the tempered-glass side-panel. Available from April 2017, the Baroncase Liquid is expected to be priced at US $130.
