The COUGAR Revenger’s PMW 3360 optical sensor is the ultimate enhancement of a respected sensor lineage as it shows in its performance. The Cougar Revenger offers gamers fine-adjustment from 100 to 12,000DPI and is equipped with a PMW 3360 optical sensor offering a 1,000Hz polling rate and 1ms response time.
Other features of the Cougar Revenger RGB optical gaming mouse include six programmable buttons that offer access to over 21 different functions, as well as an internal 512 kb memory to allow you to store up to 3 different configuration files that are then transportable with the mouse wherever it may go.
The mouse is supplied with Cougar’s own software solution, the UIX Systemand also uses two-zone RGB backlighting that lets you know what configuration profile you’re using. Revenger’s two zones are located near the Cougar logo and the three-Stage DPI LED display. It’s available from sellers like Amazon and Newegg for roughly $60. That’s the same as the 550M that the Revenger is supposed to succeed in Cougar’s gaming mouse lineup.
