Cougar today announced the launch of its latest optical gaming mouse, dubbed the “Revenger”.
The Cougar Revenger uses a PMW 3360 sensor with the ability to fine tune DPI level up to 12,000 DPI, giving you great precision when gaming against rivals. It comes with a total of 6 buttons that provide access to up to 21 different functions such as macros, shortcuts, and more. There is even a unique Trigger button on the mouse. All of the buttons can be managed easily using Cougar’s UIX system. Thanks to the Revenger’s on-board storage, you get to store up to 3 full configuration profiles, which can be accessed anywhere you go.
The Revenger’s advanced tracking technology lets you perform well even on wooden or steel surfaces, so you will not have to restrict yourself to a mouse pad. Like most new gaming mice, the Cougar Revenger comes with a 2-zone RGB backlight. In addition to enhancing the gaming atmosphere, it also lets you know which configuration profile you are using. The two backlight zones (rear area + log and DPI level indicator) are independent, allowing you to use both functions at the same time. For customization the lighting as well, you will need to use the Cougar UIX software which offers an intuitive and easy interface.
The Cougar Revenger is now available from most retailers for just $60, making a good VFM option.
