Cougar is soon going to launch a new RGB gaming mouse that aims to be a predator on the battlefield. The mouse is dubbed the Revenger and is claimed to combine theatricality and attraction with performance and functionality.
The Revenger is equipped with a PixArt 3360 PMW optical sensor, delivering a 12,000 DPI precision rating for maximum accuracy. The sensor’s level of refinement and advanced tracking capability apparently lets users use the Revenger on not just a mouse mat but also on wood, steel, plastic of fabric. The mouse boasts of a 1000 Hz polling rate with a 1ms response time, making it a fantastic choice for enthusiast gamers. Along with great performance, the Revenger comes with a promise of great reliability as well, thanks to the OMRON switches that are rated at 5 million clicks.
Just like a number of other new gaming mice on the market, the Cougar Revenger too comes with RGB illumination, a 2-zone illumination functionality to be specific. This basically allows gamers to mix and match the lighting scheme for different games. You get to choose between a total of 16.8 million colors and a number of customizable effects. For storing up to 3 unique profiles, the mouse comes with 512KB of on-board memory. In addition to programmable buttons with direct access to macros and shortcuts, gamers can configure 21 different functions through the Cougar UIX software.
The Revenger measures 135 x 70 x 45mm in terms of dimensions and weighs in at 110 grams. No word yet on pricing or availability.
