Formula 1 and Dirt builders Codemasters have acquired Project CARS‘ developer Slightly Mad Studios for a whopping $30 million.
The predominantly racing-focused developer has acquired the favored racing developer with a view to additional cement their place as ““a world-leading games developer and publisher of racing videogames.”
Slightly Mad’s Founder and CEO Ian Bell will retain his place throughout the firm, holding administration as sturdy because it’s at all times been.
Codemasters, together with buying the studio, can even be acquiring the rights to Project Cars and the corporate’s “unannounced Hollywood blockbuster title.”
