Chicony Power November revenues hit record
Ninelu Tu, Taipei; Adam Hwang, DIGITIMES [Friday 9 December 2016]

Power supply maker Chicony Power Technology has reported consolidated revenues of NT$2.836 billion (US$89.2 million) for November, the historically highest monthly level with growth of 5.24% on month and 16.46% on year, and those of NT$24.917 billion for January-November rose 3.99% on year.

The November revenue growth was mainly due to booming shipments of power supplies used in gaming notebooks. Mainly due to power supplies used in gaming notebooks, game consoles, smart home devices and drones, Chicony Power expects consolidated revenues for the fourth quarter to grow significantly on quarter.
