CBS’ streaming service, CBS All Access, now has movies. The service has been built around live and on-demand television content, but now it has 18 films. That’s in addition to 8,500 on-demand TV episodes.
Among the first set of movies are some Stark Trek films, Up in the Air, and Rosemary’s Baby. More will be added over time.
The first set of films was licensed from Paramount, according to CBS.
We’ve begun to expand CBS All Access’s content offering to include a selection of film titles relevant to our audience, such as a number of films from the Star Trek franchise. Our goal for CBS All Access is to provide and continually build a well-rounded service for our subscribers. – Marc DeBevoise, president, CBS Interactive
