Samsung Electronics’ signature Galaxy model sound, “Over the Horizon,” is again in 2025, reimagined via the dynamic rhythms and soulful harmonies of massive band jazz.
Each 12 months, Samsung reinvents “Over the Horizon,” crafting new preparations that replicate the corporate ‘s dedication to innovation. In 2024, the theme embodied the convergence of custom and modernity via a gugak, or conventional Korean music, orchestra. For 2025, the colourful tempo of massive band jazz weaves the journey of One UI into the passage of time and the rhythm of on a regular basis life. This rendition evokes a great day and a hopeful future, dropped at life via vivid instrumental mixtures and energetic grooves.

The 2025 association was created by Los Angeles-based pianist and composer Jacob Mann, with recording and mastering in Dolby Atmos overseen by engineer Will Kennedy.
Mann infused the piece along with his distinctive interpretation of the “rhythm of the day,” shaping the composition to replicate the pure development of time.
“I divided the course of a day into sections to convey the anticipation of tomorrow over the horizon. The music begins with the soft piano melodies of the morning and transitions to the vibrant energy of a night out in the city, featuring instruments like saxophones, brass and trumpets,” he defined behind the scenes . “Creating this piece felt like playing in a sandbox as a child, giving me the freedom to explore various inspirations on the piano and connect all the sections to flow naturally around the main melody.”
To convey Mann’s imaginative and prescient to life, Kennedy created an immersive recording atmosphere that highlighted the essence of massive band jazz. Using fastidiously optimized microphones and strategically positioned audio system, he was capable of seize a uncooked, genuine sound that makes the listener really feel as if they’re a part of the efficiency.
