For the most loyal BlackBerry fans, the Canadian company is preparing a small surprise. While BlackBerry recently closed its hardware division and outsourced hardware development, the company is now rumoured to be working with partners on a “keyboard phone.”
In a recent interview with Bloomberg, BlackBerry’s CEO John Chen revealed that they had one more phone up their sleeves aimed at their long-time fans. He didn’t reveal much about the smartphone except “it is coming.” BlackBerry might not be in charge of hardware development anymore, but they reassured its fans that they are still committed to smartphone markets and that more devices are coming in the future.
