We know that BlackBerry will quit making its own smartphones and today, the company has once again confirmed it has no plans to completely exit the smartphone market. Following the announcement of DTEK60, the company said that the DTEK60 “is absolutely not” their last smartphone.
BlackBerry added that they are working “with more partners” to develop and release new handsets. Since they no longer develop smartphones, these partners will be in charge of building hardware and distributing the phones, while BlackBerry will be in charge of its own software.
