It’s been a while since BlackBerry launched a new device, but we might be treated with two new devices at the MWC 2017 as TCL is in charge of hardware business. The first device could be the long rumoured BlackBerry DTEK70, also known as Mercury, while the second is now rumoured to be a tablet.
At the bottom of BlackBerry’s listing notes on the MWC website, BlackBerry is mentioned as the manufacturer for Devices, Consumer Electronics and “Tablet Devices”. The company hasn’t released any new tablet since 2011, but since the tablet will be an ODM device, manufactured by TCL, this could very well be true. We’ll find out more next week.
