Although everything about the BlackBerry KEYone leaked hours before the official announcement took place, the company has officially unveiled the smartphone. The phone features a physical, full QWERTY keyboard that allows you to use it as a trackpad. You can also use each key as a shortcut.
BlackBerry KEYone uses a Snapdragon 625 chipset paired with 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of storage and a 3,505 mAh battery that powers the 4.5-inch Full HD display. The rear camera uses Sony’s IMX378 12 MP sensor, the same one found in the Google Pixel, while the front has an 8 MP unit.
Also worth noting is BlackBerry’s DTEK software on top of the OS, with the BlackBerry Hub and a few other apps aimed at business users.
The BlackBerry KEYone will be going on sale this April for $549/£499/€599 and be available worldwide through various retailers and carriers in black.
