BlackBerry has confirmed it’ll introduce its QWERTY-enabled Mercury phone on February 25 at MWC 2017. The phone’s announcement date was revealed on Twitter. Images and videos have already shown the device’s physical keyboard component and its overall design.

Its presence at MWC was expected prior to this announcement, but no exact date was available.
The phone is being manufactured by China’s TCL. Early impressions of the unit’s hardware based on a prefinal version at CES were positive.
The BlackBerry Mercury also includes USB Type-C and a fingerprint sensor for biometric security.
