The BlackBerry KeyOne smartphone hasn’t started shipping yet, but details about the next BlackBerry phone continue to leak.
Yesterday we saw the first photos of a toucshcreen-only BlackBerry phone allegedly called the BBC100-1. Now redditors have spotted a listing for the phone at an Indonesian online store.
The phone is listed as the BlackBerry Aurora and it’s up for pre-order for the equivalent of about $260. Or at least it is until someone takes the web page offline.
The page confirms what we’d been hearing about the phone’s specs:
- 5.5 inch display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor
- 4GB RAM
- 32GB storage
- 13MP rear camera
- 8MP front camera
- 3,000 Ah battery
It’s said to have a USB port, a headset jack, a microSD card reader, and Android 7.0 software. The phone measures about 6″ x 3″ x 0.3″ and weighs about 6.3 ounces.
While the BlackBerry KeyOne is priced like a premium device with an upper mid-range processor, a high-quality camera, and a physical keyboard, it looks like the BlackBerry Aurora is more of a standard mid-range phone. It has no physical keyboard and a less powerful processor than the KeyOne, but interestingly it does have 1GB more RAM than the higher-priced phone.
