The launch of Samsung’s digital assistant Bixby in the US has been pushed back partly due to Samsung’s lack of data. Along with struggling to launch an English version for linguistic reasons, Samsung is having trouble due to inadequate data for its deep learning tech.

Because of those problems, the assistant’s launch has already been delayed. It was supposed to arrive in the US by the spring, but we’re far past that point.
Another contributing factor is that communication between Samsung’s Korean and US offices hasn’t been great.
A beta version of Bixby arrived in the US last month. Samsung hasn’t said when it plans to fully launch the assistant.
