BitFenix today announced its latest flagship cases, based on the Cape chassis showcased at Computex 2016. The company took the input from leading enthusiasts from the world over, and tweaked the Cape to come up with the new Shogun. The case carries the theme of simplicity from BitFenix Shinobi cases.

As expected from a flagship gaming case, the Shogun features two high-quality tempered glasses on either side, which let users showcase the components inside. The fully tinted tempered glass lets you hide the cables behind the motherboard tray, without negatively affecting the overall aesthetics. The semi tinted glass on the other side can showcase all the components, while the lite shade emphasizes premium looks. The top and bottom of the BitFenix Shogun is wrapped around with thick curved aluminum panels, which helps increase strength as well as provide a clean look.

Built for high end systems with extreme water cooling for VR or 4K gaming, the case supports up to three graphics cards with the include ‘GPU Safe’ technology. It accommodates GPUs up to 410mm in length and PSUs up to 250mm in length. However, if the modular HDD cages are removed, the case will be able to accommodate longer PSUs as well. In terms of storage, the case supports up to 6 HDDs or 8 SSDs. It can also host radiators up to 360mm or 280mm on the top panel, 280mm or 240mm on the front and 140mm or 120mm on the rear panel.

One of the most impressive features of the case is the new SSD Chroma technology, which offers an SSD illumination module with an RGB controller. The Quick Custom design lets users adjust the LED strip inside the Chroma modules to light up the SSD from side or the bottom. If you have an “ASUS Aura” ready motherboard, you can cycle through millions of colors and different modes.
