How did that song go? Monday appy Monday. Ok, something like that — the point is, it’s Monday and it’s time to check out the most interesting apps that were released in the past 7 days (give or take a few days over the limit). So, we dove in the app stores so you don’t have to!

1. Visionn
Download
This is another artistic photo type app where you apply filters to your pictures to turn them into a painting-style image. Visionn does everything in real time, meaning you don’t need access to the Internet to upload your source photo somewhere and you don’t need to wait for the result — previews are instant.
2. Whisky16
Download
Whisky16 is another painting photo filter app, which works even faster than Visionn — it applies the filters directly on your viewfinder, so you can preview your results before even taking a photo.
3. FabFocus
Download
No iPhone 7 Plus? No problem — FabFocus emulates the bokeh Portrait mode that is going to be exclusive to Apple’s dual-cam phablet following the iOS 10.1 update. The cool thing here is that it uses a facial recognition algorithm to distinguish faces from the background, so you don’t need to “draw” the blur with your finger like some other apps require you to.
4. Amaze App
Download
If you’re a meme-type of person, this app will serve you new funny images and gifs and make it exceptionally easy to share with friends over most types of messengers.
5. Merge.r
Download
This app allows you to stitch together pictures and video and even convert them into a square ratio if you happen to be a vertically-shooting offender. Then, you can add a soundtrack, either from your library or the app’s selection of free music to round up the clip.
6. Low Carb Diet Calculator
Download
So, you’re trying to lose some weight and have heard that you should cut down on the carbs. OK, cool, but which foods are rich in carbs and which aren’t? This app will help you calculate your carb intake thanks to its rich database — its barcode scanner searches through a library of 2 million entries and its manual search has 5 million foods. You can also add a custom food to the database.
7. Phasemaker
Download
For the iOS musicians out there, this is an analog synth modeler that’s gonna bring back some of the classic sounds of the ’80s. 12 oscillators, 42 FM algorithms, and 106 controllable parameters — have at it!

1. Stash
Download
Stash is an “intelligent bookmarking” app — you send your favorite pages from your browser to Stash and it will automatically place your new bookmark in its own category. When you open the app, you can browse through said categories and find your saved pages easier. The app is also available as a browser extension for PC and syncs across all your devices.

2. PixelCam
Download
This camera app allows you to record videos with some pretty cooky filters. Worth checking out if you are into crazy effects.
3. ChronoSpin
Download
This is a cool-looking live wallpaper that shows you a glowing analog clock. Swiping up will activate a tap-controlled arcade game, in case you have some time to burn.

4. Wallpaper
Download
Definitely not the first wallpaper-browsing app out there, so why is this one confident enough to don the simple name “Wallpaper”? Because it’s made by none other than Google. Yup, we didn’t see that one coming, too! It has an ever-growing library of HQ wallpapers and a function to cycle through a new picture each day.
5. Surfy Browser
Download
A feature-rich browser that’s still under development, Surfy offers color themes, a Launch Pad for quick bookmarks, a pinnable tab, and text-to-speech engine to read pages out loud for you.
6. Swappa
Download
Swappa is a service that helps you sell your gadgets and buy from others. Sort of like the eBay for smartphones, tablets, or laptops. Now, it has a nifty little app.
7. Hello Battery
Download
This is a battery saver app that will make sure that apps don’t go rogue in the background. It has a nice layout and animations, and ads that don’t take up too much space. It also comes with a secondary shortcut, which allows you to change battery-saving modes straight from the home screen.
