Asus introduced two new smartphones about a month ago at CES 2017, the ZenFone AR and ZenFone 3 Zoom, but the Taiwanese company is expected to unveil at least one other handset later this month.

The elusive ZenFone 4 leaked a couple of times in the last few weeks, but the phone might finally be announced at MWC 2017 in late February. According to a recent listing at GFXBench, the ZenFone 4 could be Asus’ new flagship smartphone, which was previously rumored to hit the shelves in May.

Although the device comes equipped with last year’s top-of-the-line chip, the Snapdragon 820, the ZenFone 4 packs no less than 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal memory. Another impressive trait of the unannounced ZenFone 4 is the large 5.7-inch display that supports Quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution.

Some other details related to the camera setup and software are mentioned in the benchmark too. First of all, the ZenFone 4 will run Android 7.0 Nougat, which isn’t surprising for a flagship device. Secondly, it will pack a 21-megapixel rear-facing snap shooter, as well as a secondary 8-megapixel selfie camera, which completes the list of partial specs revealed.

Based on the previous experience with Asus’ Android smartphones lineup, it’s safe to assume the company will launch multiple ZenFone 4 variants with different amounts of memory; possible different chipsets too.
