Asus has recently uncovered its new flagship the ZenFone 3. But we know this handset has still to come to domestic market. No one knows when it will happen, but we assume the Asus ZenFone 3 will become available in China in coming days, as there will be many announcements by other manufacturers, so if Asus doesn’t make its one, the company may fall behind. So let’s take a quick look at its key features and summarize what we know to be ready once it is launched.
The Asus ZenFone 3 is said to come with a double-sided 2.5D glass on the front, while the back side will sport a brushed metal housing. It should come at dimensions of 152.9 × 77.38 × 7.69mm and weigh 175g, which is a bit heavier than we expected. As for the colors, the Asus ZenFone 3 should be available in black, white, and gold.
As for the hardware, the Asus ZenFone 3 is announced to feature a 5.5-inch 1080P screen, an octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor clocked at 2GHz, 3/4GB RAM + 32/64GB ROM, a 16MP camera on the back with F2.0 large aperture, 3 mixed focus, 4-axis OIS + 3-axis EIS function, and an 8MP camera on the front for video chats, a 2900mAh battery. There is also a fingerprint identification scanner on the back.
I guess you understand we are dealing with a beats that is going to fight in the western market with top brands. So it should be armed well. In this sense, the Asus ZenFone 3 should see no problem, because it sports the latest features like the 2.5D glass screen at 1080P resolution, a great primary camera and so on. But the final verdict can be done only after the official price is announced. I don’t think it will come at a lower price tag, but maybe there will be some exceptions for the domestic market. Who knows?
