ASUS Working On Tango-Ready ZenFone, To Be Announced At…

201

ASUS traditionally unveils new smartphones at CES trade show, and it looks like it will keep the tradition. The company is now working on a Google Tango-enabled AR smartphone called ASUS ZenFone AR that is expected to be unveiled at next year’s CES, in Las Vegas.

The upcoming smartphone will use Google’s Tango platform to bring augmented reality to smartphones. The company’s CEO has confirmed the rumours, but except saying that “the ZenFone AR will come with advanced functionality and performance at a competitive price,” he didn’t reveal much about the handset.

Compared to the world’s first Tango-enabled phone, the Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, we could say that the ZenFone AR will have at least 4 GB of RAM and Quad HD display.
