It’s been less than half a year since Asus introduced the Zenbook UX310 thin and light laptop with a 13 inch display, an Intel Skylake CPU, and optional support for premium features such as a QHD+ display and/or NVIDIA graphics.
Now Asus is updating the notebook and offering models with Kaby Lake CPU options.
The rest of the specs seem to be largely unchanged.
Notebook Italia noticed updated listings for the Asus Zenbook UX310UA with Intel HD graphics and Zenbook UX310UQ with NVIDIA GeForce 940M graphics.
Both models are available with 1920 x 1080 pixel or 3200 x 1800 pixel display options, support for up to 16GB of RAM, and support for up to TB of SATA HDD storage or up to 512GB of M.2 SSD storage.
Processor options include Intel Core i3, Core i5, or Core i7 chips, and Intel lists both 6th-gen Skylake and 7th-gen Kaby Lake processor options.
The laptop measures 12.7″ x 8.8″ x 0.7″ and weighs about 3.1 pounds with a 48 Whr battery. Ports include a USB 3.1 Type-C port, a USB 3.0 port, two USB 2.0 ports, and an HDMI port.
There’s no word on US pricing for the new models yet, but some European retailers are starting to show listings for some of the new models.
