ASUS today launched the Republic of Gamers Gladius II gaming mouse in Singapore. The Gladius II has been optimized for FPS gaming and comes with several interesting features such as push-fit switch sockets, Aura RGB lighting with Aura Sync support, and a DPI target button.
The Asus-exclusive push-fit switch socket design allows gamers to vary click resistance and extend the lifespan of the mouse by replacing worn switches. Gladius II also uses durable Omron mouse switches, rated for 50 million clicks. If you want a different click feel, you can use the additional pair of high-quality Japanese-made Omron switches that is bundled with the mouse. For easy DPI switching, the mouse features a DPI switch that lets gamers choose between two sensitivity levels. There is a DPI target button as well for greater control.
The combination of a 12,000 DPI optical sensor, 250 IPS, 50g acceleration and 1000 Hz USB polling rate makes the Gladius II an ideal mice for FPS gaming. For bling lovers, the mouse features Asus Aura RGB illumination with a palette of over 16 million colors and various preset lighting effects to choose from. With Aura Sync support, you will be able to sync the illumination on the Gladius II with other Aura Sync-enabled products inside your system. To control the lighting effects, adjust performance, surface calibration settings, program and map buttons, users can use the ROG Armoury software that offers an intuitive UI.
The ROG Gladius II gaming moise is now on sale in Singapore for S$139 with a 2 year warranty.
