ASUS Preparing The Thinnest GTX 1080-Powered Gaming Not…

Flagship components are often prone to overheat and to keep them cool, most high-end gaming notebooks are slightly thicker than other laptops. Thanks to NVIDIA’s latest Pascal-based graphics card and Intel’s upcoming Kaby Lake processors, manufacturers can finally trim the thickness of the laptops.

ASUS, one of the world’s best gaming notebook companies, is now working on a new premium model that might end up as the world’s thinnest gaming laptop, measuring only 16.65mm. Even some Ultrabooks are not that thin, and if ASUS can keep the laptop cool enough without throttling, it would definitely be one of the best gaming notebooks on the market. Especially if we add that the notebook features NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1080 GPU, Intel Core i7-7700HQ, up to 24 GB of DDR4 RAM and a blazing fast PCIe x4 NVMe SSD.

The notebook might be unveiled at CES 2017, but at the moment there is no official information about it.
