While ASUS recently launched the ZenFone 4 models, a new ZenFone V (5?) has now been announced in the United States. The smartphone is available exclusively from Verizon in Sapphire Black color and priced at $384 without a contract or for $16/month for 24 months. There is no information at the moment, but most likely won’t reach other markets.
As for the specs, the ZenFone V packs a 5.2-inch 1080p AMOLED display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection, Snapdragon 820, 4 GB RAM and 32 GB of storage and runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with Zen UI 3.0. It has a 23-megapixel rear camera with OIS, EIS and TriTech auto-focus and an 8 MP front-facing camera.
