ASUS has now announced that the ROG Chimera is now officially available. The latest addition to the Republic of Gamers gaming laptop line won’t be called ROG Chimera, but ROG G703, but retains all the same or even slightly improved design and specs of the prototype Chimera model.
The laptop features a 17.3-inch IPS, G-Sync compatible display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and is powered by Intel Core i7-7820HK CPU clocked at 2.90 GHz with boost clocks up to 3.90 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 8 GB clocked at 1,974 MHz (core) and 10.3 GHz (memory), up to 32 GB of DDR4-2800 RAM, two 256 GB NVMe PCIe 3.0 SSDs in RAID 0 and an additional 1 TB 5400 rpm HDD.
The Asus ROG G703VI-XH74K can be ordered from the company’s official site for $3,499.
