ASUS has rolled out new Strix, Expedition, Dual, and Phoenix series GeForce GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti graphics cards.
The ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and GTX 1050 feature DirectCU II cooling with a patented dual wing-blade 0dB fan designed to deliver maximum airflow for 30 percent cooler and three times quieter performance. They also offer ASUS FanConnect for targeted supplemental cooling and ASUS Aura Sync RGB LED synchronization technology.
The Expedition series cards come with durable designs for enhanced reliability, making them the ideal choice for heavily used gaming systems. These cards use a dual-ball bearing fan with 2X longer lifespans and improved cooling efficiency. Asus claims to have tested the Expedition GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and Expedition GeForce GTX 1050 cards in its iCafe Lab extensively for heavy duty usage and claims that they are ready for non-stop gaming performance.
The Asus Dual GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and Dual GeForce GTX 1050 cards come with a color scheme that perfectly matches the company’s Z170-A and Z170-PRO motherboards. They utilize optimized dual fans for cooling and are claimed to provide ‘sweet spot’ graphics performance ideal for eSports gaming.
Finally, we have the Phoenix GeForce GTX 1050 Ti and the Phoenix GeForce GTX 1050 cards that are ideal for smaller gaming PCs. The Phoenix series cards feature a dual-ball bearing fan that eliminates the problem of oil drying found in sleeve-bearing fans. This allow the fans to last twice as long and the reduced friction also helps them run smoother and provide improved cooling efficiency.
