ASUS has added a plainer and budget looking GeForce RTX 2080, it is labeled as the Dual EVO and comes with a customized cooler design based on a 2.7 slot design with dual fans.
The card reveals a 6-pin and 8-pin PCIe power connectors and monitor outputs in the form of three DisplayPort 1.4, an HDMI 2.0b, and a USB-C VirtualLink. The shroud features a subtle illuminated strip. There will be two models, a reference clocked one and one with slightly bumped performance. The “DUAL-RTX2080-8G-EVO” has that NVIDIA-reference clock speeds with as 1710 MHz GPU Boost, and the faster model “DUAL-RTX2080-A8G-EVO” has a 1725 MHz GPU Boost (um yeah, that’s a 15 MHz difference indeed). Memory frequency is untouched on both cards, at 14 Gbps (GDDR6-effective). The company has not shared pricing just yet.
