Close to half of Xbox One owners use the console’s backwards compatibility feature, which enables them to play old Xbox 360 games on the system. That stat comes from Xbox boss Phil Spencer, who thanked people for “supporting the program.” Backwards compatibility launched in November 2015 and now includes over 300 games.
Since the program launched, gamers have spent 210 million collective hours playing Xbox 360 titles on the console. 65 million hours have accumulated just since August 2016.
BioShock, BioShock 2, and BioShock Infinite were added to the backwards compatibility system this week.
